Iron phosphating solution is an acidic solution of Iron phosphate in water to which potassium chlorate (KCLO3) has been added as an accelerating agent for the phosphating process. This solution gives a phosphate coating thickness up to 7.5 gm/square meter suitable for sealing with oil or grease. The phosphate coating sealed with a suitable oil meets the requirements of a Class-I phosphate coating as per specification DEF STAN 03-11/ Issue-I.

Handling precautions:

• ✔ Operators should be use Rubber Gloves, Face shield, Rubber Aprons, Safety shoes, and goggles while handling PHO Solution.
• ✔ In case of spillage, flush with plenty of running water.
• ✔ In case of Body contact, flush the affected body area with flowing water for 3-5 minutes
• ✔ Call for medical attention.

Metal Cleaning Formulation is for the preparation of low temperature aqueous metal cleaning and polishing baths. This formulation consists of an alkaline builder. It is free of either poly or orthophosphates. The formulation relates generally to an improved metal cleaning composition and more practically for preparing aqueous metal cleaning and polishing baths. This composition is useful as a cleaner-degreaser for Ferrous and Non Ferrous metals and is ideally suitable for cleaning metal surfaces, removal of oils, lubricants and rust.
This formulation produces no measurable corrosion of metal during the cleaning operation; hence no weakening or dimensional change in the metal parts is affected by this process.

APPLICATIONS

This composition is also suitable for the removal of lubricants, and other processing soils from the surface of metallic pieces or parts, such as steel, stainless steel, Iron, Aluminum, Zinc, Copper, Brass and other Ferrous and Non Ferrous metals and alloys
